Hazel Delores Judd, age 85, of Wilmington passed away Thursday, February 2, 2017 at Northchase Nursing and Rehabilitation.

She was born August 18, 1931 in New Hanover County, North Carolina the daughter of the late James D. Odum and Hazel Padrick Odum. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, William Richard Judd and son Michael Dean Register.

Delores grew up in the Carolina Beach area, she enjoyed baking and made a delicious array of cakes and enjoyed spending time with her family. She worked for numerous years at the Carolina Beach A&P Grocery Store and later at Monty's.

Left to cherish her memory are her two sons, William Stanley Register and wife Jeanne and Richard Kelly Judd and wife Christine; grandchildren, Blake Gagnon, Whitney Judd, Laura and Bill Register, Kevin Lawrie (Karen), Tim Lawrie and Bobby and Liz Holovina; eight great grandchildren; sisters, Margie Stone and Janet Hewett (Henry); and numerous other loving family and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Monday, February 6, 2017 at the Quinn McGowen Wilmington Location. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at Prospect Cemetery.
