Hoda E. Hanna, 71, of Wilmington, passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2019, at NHRMC following a long illness.

She was born on October 15, 1947, in Egypt, to the late Saleh and Aida (Morcos) Habashy.

Hoda and her husband, Ezzat, lived in Manhasset, NY for 35 years before coming to Wilmington.

Hoda is survived by her husband, Ezzat Hanna; her son, Antony Hanna; her daughter, Maryann Hanna and husband Wael; her brother, Hany Habashy and wife Rita; her sister, Mona Habashy and her husband Fathey; her brother-in-law, Refaat Hanna and wife Amal; her sisters-in-law, Janet Anise, Nadia Shaker, and Odet Shaker and husband Zaher Kamel.

Graveside service will be 12 pm Friday, March 8, 2019, at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Wilmington with Pastor David Robinette officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Thursday, March 7, 2019 at Quinn McGowen Funeral Home in Wilmington.
