Holly Feline (Bila) Parsons

Holly Feline (Bila) Parsons, born February 3rd, 1960, to Gerald and MaryAnn Bila in El Paso, Texas passed away peacefully in her home in Hampstead, North Carolina on July 8th, 2026. Holly was the second oldest of eight children.

After serving in the United States Air Force, Holly had her only daughter Kari Feline on October 18th, 1983, and was a devoted single mother until she met Darrall Parsons, who made their family whole. Holly married Darrall, the love of her life, on November 6th, 1999.

Holly was a vibrant personality with an easy laugh, a warm smile, and a generous heart. She was a dedicated wife, mother, Ya-Ya, sister, and friend. She loved the color purple, Elephants, Flowers, and watching the hummingbirds out her living room window. She loved her pups, Dixie and Dottie who were her faithful nap companions. But most of all she loved her family. Her grandchildren, Aria, Logan, and Willow were her pride and joy and she loved being around them as much as she could.

Holly and Darrall settled in Hampstead, North Carolina for health reasons and to be closer to her sister after living in Colorado Springs, Colorado for several years.

Holly is preceded by her parents, Gerald and MaryAnn.

She is survived by her loving husband, Darrall Parsons; her daughter Kari (George) Morris; her grandchildren Aria Bila, Logan Morris and Willow Morris; her siblings Wendell (Pam) Bila, Toy (Andy) Morris, Aubrey Bila, Jerry Bila, Lionel Bila, Alex (Tina) Bila, and Justin (Kim) Bila; she is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends.

A Celebration of Life will be at 11:00 am on Saturday, July 18, 2026 at Quinn McGowen Funeral Home in Wilmington with Pastor Daniel Eplee officiating. 

Holly was a special soul and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
