Ayden Thomas Cavenaugh, infant son of Seth Cavenaugh and Brittney Hollingsworth, came into this world on February 24, 2008 as an angel of light. God called Ayden to his heavenly home on February 25, 2008.

Surviving in addition to his parents are his maternal grandmother, Sharon Hollingsworth of Teachey; paternal grandparents, Steve and Jamie Cavenaugh of Wallace; maternal great grandparents, Charlie and Helen Brown of Teachey; paternal great grandparents, Rifton and JoAnn Cavenaugh of Wallace, James and Nellie Spearman of Teachey and Ruth Norris of Wallace; aunts, Meghan Cavenaugh and Ashley Hollingsworth and uncles, Corey Cavenaugh and Justin Hollingsworth. He was predeceased by his great grandfather, Johnny Norris.

Funeral service will be 10:00 am Thursday at Quinn-McGowen Funeral Home
Wallace Chapel with Pastor Brad Carter officiating.

Burial will follow in Duplin Memorial Gardens, Teachey.

Casketbearers will be Craig Armstrong, Greg Maready, Nick Whaley and Darrian Brown.

Honorary casketbearers will be members of Wallace Fire Department.

The family will receive friends at the home of Steve and Jamie Cavenaugh, 126 Circle Drive, Wallace, NC.
