Ivan Dale Mullen was a truly special and remarkable man who made a lasting impression on all those who knew him. After 79 years, his earthly life ended on June 16, 2026, but the impact of his life will live on in the hearts of family and friends.

He was born April 5, 1947 in Curtis, Nebraska, the son of William E. Mullen and Evelyn Flock Mullen. In addition to his parents, Ivan was preceded in death by his sisters, Donna Mullen, Ina Mullen, Linda Ryberg, and Anitha Miller-Halverson; brother, Virgil Mullen; and his number one canine companion, Rosie.

Ivan is survived by his beloved wife of 44 years, Olga S. Mullen; sons, Mark Enfield (Brenda) and Andrew Enfield (Keri); grandchildren, Alexis Enfield and Nicolas Enfield; sisters, Connie Neill (Tim) and Diana Curry; many nieces, nephews and friends.

Celebration of Life Friday, June 26, 2026 at Quinn McGowen Funeral Home Wilmington Chapel, 315 Willow Woods Drive, Wilmington, NC 28409. Pastor Jerome Bullard will conduct the service. The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the service.
