Jacklyn "Jackie" Wells McClain, age 54, passed from her earthly life way to soon on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at home.

She was born December 14, 1968 in Pender County, the daughter of Robert Edward Wells and Julia Ann Brown Wells. In addition to her father Jackie was preceded in death by her aunt, Betty Casteen and uncles, Gene Wells and Richard Brown.

Jackie is survived by her mother, Julia Ann; daughter, Kelsey Wood (Dakota); son, Jason McClain; brothers, Keith Wells (Tammy) and Shaun Wells (Lori); nieces, Gracey and Ava; nephew, Braxton; many extended family members and friends.

Jackie enjoyed fishing, watching NASCAR, road trips to the mountains, and spending time with her canine companion, Minnie. Most of all she loved her family. Jackie was loved and will be greatly missed.

A memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 25, 2023 at Quinn McGowen Funeral Home Burgaw Chapel with The Rev. Barry Wells conducting the service.
