James Daniel "Doosie" Henderson, 55, of Teachey left this left for his eternal rest on Sunday, January 3, 2016 from Cape Fear Valley Hospital in Fayetteville.
He was born August 11, 1960 in Atlanta Georgia and was the son of the late Lonnie Henderson and Patricia Raynor Henderson Manley.
James was a loving husband and caring father and brother. He was a simple man who never met a stranger and had a heart of gold. He was a hard worker who enjoyed his work and loved his work family. Being a great provider for his family, James made sure they had what they needed. His favorite pastime was his Harley Davidson, hunting and spending time with family and friends. He will surely be missed but cherished memories will forever live in the heart of those who knew and loved James.
He is survived by his best friend and wife of 28 years, Patricia Williams Henderson; son, Michael Barbee of Teachey; sisters, Teresa Manley of Wallace and Tina Strickland and husband, Paul of Wallace and numerous family and friends who loved James dearly.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00pm on Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at Quinn-McGowen Funeral Home Wallace Chapel.
The family will received friends at 12 Noon on Wednesday, one hour prior the service at the funeral home and other times at the home of Paul and Tina Strickland in Wallace.
Burial will follow the service in Riverview Memorial Park, Watha. Funeral service will be held at 1:00pm on Wednsday, January 6, 2016 at Quinn-McGowen Funeral Home Wallace Chapel.
The family will received friends at 12 Noon on Wednesday, one hour prior the service at the funeral home.
