James Wesley Leber, 98, passed away on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on February 18, 1928, in Richmond, Virginia, to the late Kenneth Miles Leber and the late Florence Emma Leber.

James was a devoted and loving husband who enjoyed painting, playing golf, and raising birds.

James is survived by his beloved wife, Michele Leber; his grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren; and numerous extended family members, nieces, nephews, and dear friends who will cherish his memory.

In addition to his parents, James was also preceded in death by his sisters, Lucille Snowa, Helen Hyatt; and his brothers, Kenneth Leber, and Louis Leber.
