James Robert "Bobby" Teachey, 87, of Wallace passed from this life to his eternal rest on Thursday, November 3 2022.

He was born on June 9, 1935 in Duplin County; the son of the late Dallas D. and Myrtle Merritt Teachey.

Surviving to cherish his memory is his devoted wife of 69 years, Kathryn Jones Teachey; daughters, Sharon Kay Teachey Tinga and husband, Herrick of Castle Hayne and Amy Teachey and  fiancé, Tracy Jones of Four Oaks; grandchildren, Matthew Ryan Hansen and Hayden V. Jones; great grandchildren, Annabella Kay Hansen, Ashlyn Rhianna Hansen and Elizabeth Noelle Hansen; brother, Joseph "Joe" Teachey of Rose Hill; sister, Dallas Faye Lancaster and husband, Jim of Hampstead; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends that loved Bobby dearly.
