Janet Fay Daniels, age 64,of Castle Hayne died Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at Hermitage House Rest Home.

She was born October 3, 1945 in Wilmington, the daughter of Alma Bryan Daniels of Wilmington and the late Allbert Daniels.

Surviving in addition to her mother are her loving family; daughter, Janice Bond Owens and husband, Anthony of Hampstead; son, Burnice Lee Bond, Jr. of Harrells; grandchildren, Davey Darden, Anthony Owens, Jr., Travis Owens and Amanda \\"Mandie\\" Burgess; three great granddaughters, sister, Betty Jean Redinger and husband, Robert "Bob" of Hendersonville and Castle Hayne; brother, Albert "Buddy" Daniels and wife, Marilyn of Castle Hayne; several nieces and nephews and her extended family, the staff and residents of Hermitage House.

Janet was a devoted daughter and loving mother, sister, aunt and friend. She found great joy in the simplest of things, but her greatest joy was family. Janet enjoyed going to church as long as her health permitted and loved to sing for the Lord. With a gentle spirit and warm personality, she was loved by all who knew her. She was affectionately known as \\"Queen Bee\\" where ever she went. For many years Janet has lived at Hermitage House where she was cherished by both staff and residents. Loving memories of Janet will remain in our hearts forever.

Graveside funeral service will be 1:00 pm Friday, April 2, 2010 at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Wilmington with The Rev. James Oxendine officiating.

The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 pm Thursday, April 1, 2010 at Quinn-McGowen Funeral Home, Burgaw.

The family would like to thank the staff and residents of Hermitage House for the special love and care that was always shown to Janet.
