Janice Doreen Dion-Ratterree, 62, of Currie, NC passed from her earthly life on Sunday, April 15, 2018 at her home.

She was born November 12, 1955 in Ottawa, Canada, the daughter of the late Al and Claire Sisson Dion.

Janice is survived by her twin brother and his wife, James and Lydie-Ann Davidson-Dion of Ottawa, Canada; friend (caregiver) Wayne Ratterree and his wife, Linda of Franklin, NC; step-children, Joey Ratterree, Emily Hamner (Chris), and Jeremy Ratterree (Chasity); step-grandchildren, Tucker Ratterree, Cambree Ratterree, Gabriel Ratterree, Tabitha Ratterree, Alexa Hamner and Michael Hamner.

Janice retired from the US Navy after serving honorably and with valor for many years. She served her country in Desert Storm and other conflicts in the Middle East, receiving many commendations and service medals.

Her desire to be laid to rest in the Georgia National Cemetery, Canton, GA will be carried out at a later date.
