Janice Yvonne Garling, 73, of Burgaw passed gently from her earthly life on Thursday, August 6, 2020 at Ashe Gardens Memory Care in Burgaw.

She was born July 16, 1947 in Sevier County, TN, the daughter of the late Willie and Alberta Vaughn Dykes. She is also preceded in death by her brother, Micky Dykes.

Janice is survived by her son, Sean Taylor of Rocky Point; daughters, Carry Benning of Punta Gorda, FL, Susy Archambalt of Waterloo, IA, and Shelley Faucher (Donald) of Biloxi, MS; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A private service for family will take place at a later date.
