Jary Emanuel Meza Barahona, age 27, of Teachey left this earthly life for his eternal rest on Sunday, June 1, 2014 and is now forever in the presence of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

He was born February 26, 1987 in Colon, Honduras and was the son of Roger Meza and wife, Josefa Benitez of Teachey and Victoria Barahona Ventura and husband, Jose of Camden, SC.

In addition to his parents, Jary is survived by his son who was the light of his life, Jary Meza, Jr.; sisters, Darnell Meza, Suany Barahona, Tatiana Ventura, all of South Carolina and Hilda Meza of Honduras; step-sisters, Fanny Benitez, Jessica Castillo, both of Teachey and step-brother, Bairon Benitez of Teachey; special friend, Telma Aguilar of Wallace; very special friend, Dunia Luna of Wallace and his little "brothers", Russell and Bryant Mejia and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who loves Jary very much.

Jary was a devoted father and caring son, brother and friend. He was full of life and had many plans and dreams for him and his son. Jary, Jr. was the love of his life and he enjoyed every minute they were together. With a big heart, full of compassion and gratitude, Jary loved his Lord Jesus and his relationship with Him was very important. Having a great personality, he was always laughing, singing and making others laugh with him. Jary will surely be missed but cherished memories will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday, June 5, 2014 at Quinn-McGowen Funeral Home Wallace Chapel. Burial will follow in Duplin Memorial Gardens in Teachey.

The family will receive friends from 7:00pm to 9:00pm on Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
