Jeanna Patrice Ferguson Johnson, age 67, of Willard, passed from this life to her eternal rest on Tuesday, October 12, 2021.

She was born on June 12, 1954 in Mecklinburg County; the daughter of the late James Herbert and Gloria Dean Hovis Fergerson.

Surviving is her best friend and husband of 48 years, Jeff H. Johnson of Willard; her daughter, Lindsi Jones and husband, Michael of Ashville; her son, Clayton Johnson and wife, Hollu of Concord; grandchildren, Aidan Johnson, Rachel Jones, Zelan Jones, Lucas Johnson, and Presley Johnson; brothers, Jim Ferguson of Fort Mills, SC and Kyle Ferguson of Wisconsin and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends who loved Jeanne dearly.

Jeanna was a loving wife and caring mother, grandmother and sister.  She found great joy in the simplest of things, but her greatest joy was family.  Jeanna enjoyed being outside in God's beautiful nature.  With a green thumb, she could grow anything, especially flowers. She loved living her life near the coast.  Jeanna was fun to be with and a great woman of faith.  She loved and served her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and lived a life that glorified Him.  Jeanna will surely be missed but cherished memories will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Memorial service will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at New Covenant Evangelical Presbyterian Church, 813 S. Walker Street, Burgaw, NC  28425.

In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial gifts be sent to New Covenant Evangelical Presbyterian Church at the address above.
