Jeffrey "Jeff" Page Cottle, age 56, of Burgaw passed away Friday, June 11, 2016 at his home.

He was born December 25, 1959 in New Hanover County, North Carolina the son of the late Loranza Bryant Cottle Sr. and Mildred Cottle.

Jeff proudly served his country in the United States Army 82nd Airborne Division. During his service he learned skydive and became a boxer, which became hobbies that he never lost interest in and kept a love for throughout his life. He was an entrepreneur and was able to excel in his careers with his talent in sales and marketing, but closest to his heart was his business, Alucraft America Hurricane Shutters.

Most of all, Jeff, had a deep love for his family and was a devoted father that deeply enjoyed time spent in the presence of his children.

Left to cherish his memory are his eight children, Cassandra Malpass (Roger), Loranza Cottle (Tabitha), Sherri Bowman, Staci Bowman, Andrew Cottle, Alex Cottle, Adam Cottle, and Ashton Cottle; five grandchildren, Alana Cottle, R.J. Malpass, Devin Malpass, Sophia Malpass and Paris Bowman; brothers, David Cottle (Erma) and John Cottle; nephews, Isreal West, Nick West and Ryan West; nieces, Wendy Cottle, Lisa Goldberg and Erica Peterson; and numerous other loving family and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at Quinn McGowen Wilmington Chapel.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, June 16, 2016 at Quinn McGowen Wilmington Chapel with Pastor Eugene Ridley officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
