Obituary

Jennifer Marie Schaefer Terflinger, 62, of Wallace left this earthly life for her eternal rest on Saturday, October 2, 2021.

She was born on February 11, 1959 in St Clair County, Illinois and was the daughter of the late Jimmie Ray and Jacqueline Morehead Schaefer.  She was also preceded in death by her sister, Peggy Dorton.

Jennifer was a member of Calvary Church in Wallace, NC and a licensed real estate agent.

Surviving to cherish her memory is her husband of twenty-five years, Donald Lee Terflinger of the home; her daughter, Jeri Beringer of Wallace; grandchildren, Brianna Carr, Hannah Grace Carr, Lailyn Carr and J.C. Carr; sisters, Jimmy Schaffer and husband, Eric of Georgetown, Kentucky, Marcy Nieman and husband, George of Aurora, Indiana and Jan Sobetski and husband, Ron of Eastpoint, Michigan and numerous extended family and many friends that loved Jennifer dearly.

Jennifer was a devoted wife and caring mother, grandmother and sister.  She loved and lived for her family, especially her grandchildren.  They were the 'apples of her eye'. Jennifer enjoyed selling homes and making others dreams come true.  Most of all, she was the biggest and best fan of her grandchildren.  She enjoyed and attended all the ballgames or other activities that involved her grandchildren as long as her health permitted.  She was always their best cheerleader.  Jennifer loved life, loved people and enjoyed making others happy.  With a great big heart, she was a kind and true friend.  Jennifer will surely be missed but treasured memories of her will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at Calvary Church in Wallace.  Time will be announced.
