Jeri Ellen Rivenbark Bradshaw, 62, left this earthly life for her eternal rest on Wednesday, June 8, 2016.

She was born on November 30, 1953 in Rose Hill, NC and was the daughter of Dorothy T. Rivenbark and the late Sam Rivenbark of Rose Hill.

Jeri and her husband, Harry are the owners of Beco Electric, Inc. in Rose Hill. She was a member of Island Creek Baptist Church where she served and participated in many capacities of the church as long as her health permitted.

Surviving to cherish Jeri's memory is her best friend and husband of 43 years, Harry W. Bradshaw; her two loving daughters, Jill P. Bradshaw of Teachey and Ginger B. Henderson (Jason ) of Wilmington; brother, Bud Rivenbark (Donna) of Sneads Ferry; sister, Linda Teachey of Mount Olive; two special nieces, Brenda Teachey Barwick (Ricky) and Deborah Teachey Shivar (Phil), both of Mount Olive; numerous great nieces, nephews and cousins; a very special granddaughter who she loved for a long, long, long time, Jaleigh Caroline Henderson of Wilmington and her special four legged fur baby, Bella Rose who always stayed by her side.

Jeri was a loving wife and a caring mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend. She found great joy spending time with her family and taking trips to the mountains. Jeri was a friend to all, a strong and determined soul, yet a gentle and loving presence to all who were blessed to know her. With a heart of gold and outgoing personality, she never met a stranger. Jeri's love for God, her family and friends made her life complete.

Jeri and her family were deeply comforted by the outpouring of love and support by her many friends and family throughout her cancer journey. Because she believed John 11:25, 26, she was gracious and fearless in death. Jeri will surely be missed but treasured memories will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at Island Creek Baptist Church with Pastor Ronald Ginn and Pastor Macon Wood officiating. Entombment will follow in Rockfish Memorial Cemetery Mausoleum. Casketbearers will be Coy Carter, Cody Wendorf, Garry Teachey, Tige Moran, Larry Horrell and Hershall Teachey.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00pm on Friday, June 10, 2016 at Quinn-McGowen Funeral Home in Wallace and other times at the Bradshaw's home.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial gifts be sent to Lower Cape Fear Hospice Foundation, 1414 Physicians Drive, Wilmington, NC 28401.
