Jerry Wayne Jarman, age 53, of Chinquapin died Tuesday, August 5, 2008 in New Hanover Regional Medical Center.

He was born January 3, 1955 in Pender County and was the son of Ruth Piner Jarman of Wallace and the late Ernest Jarman.

Surviving in addition to his loving mother is his son, Michael Jarman of Wallace; fiancee, Sara Boone of Chinquapin; sisters, Cindy Capps and husband, Terry of Willard and Susan Brinson and husband, Randy of Wallace and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral service will be 11:00 am Friday, August 8, 2008 at Quinn-McGowen Funeral Home Wallace Chapel.

Burial will follow in Riverview Memorial Park, Watha.

Casketbearers will be Earl Odom, Todd Ogden, Sean Capps, Kenny Norris, Gene Strickland and Danny Burdette.

The family will receive friends 7:00 to 9:00 pm Thursday at Quinn-McGowen Funeral Home in Wallace.

Being an avid classic car and truck enthusiast, Jerry enjoyed car shows where he met many people who became very near and dear to him. Jerry will be remembered for his gentle spirit,his great sense of humor and his love for life, family and friends.
