Jerry Olin Pope, III , surrounded by his loving family left this world way to soon on October 24, 2023.

Jerry was born in Wilmington, NC on December 6, 1996 and is the son of Jerry Olin Pope, Jr, and Vicky Dale Dixon. Jerry was preceded in death by his grandparents, Thomas Earl and Charlotte Dixon, as well as, his step-grandmother, Nadine Davis. Jerry was also preceded in death, by his loving and most loyal best friend Sunshine, his Labrador Retriever.

Jerry was a man who loved to hunt, especially duck and deer, as well as fishing. Jerry always enjoyed being out in God's beautiful creation called nature. Jerry was a man who loved his family with all of his heart. He may have been outspoken and strong willed at times, but his family and friends always knew they could count on him as he was always there to help them.

Left to cherish this beautiful and giving soul is his mom, Vicky Dixon, and his dad, Jerry Pope, Jr.; grandmother, Joyce Pope; grandfather, Jerry Pope, Sr.; five sisters, Laura Reitz, and her husband, Lee, Carleigh and Celcie Pope, Chassity Flinchem, Emily Holland as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A graveside service to celebrate the life of Jerry will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, October 27, 2023 in Riverview Memorial Park with the Rev. Clint Jones officiating.
