Jesse Daniel Cooke, Jr., 69, of Ivanhoe passed gently from his earthly life Saturday, January 9, 2021 at The Laurels of Pender.

He was born June 18, 1951 in Robeson County, NC, the son of the late Jesse Daniel Cooke, Sr. and Jessie Mae Turner Cooke. In addition to his parents Jesse was preceded in death by his son, Jamey Farr; sister, Glenda Stroud and brother, Roger Cooke.

Jesse is survived y his wife, Gail Cooke; son, Jason Worth; daughters, Crystal Chambers and Tiffanie Boswell; ten grandchildren; one great granddaughter; brother, The Honorable Ronald C. Cooke; many friends; and not to be forgotten his faithful canine companion, Rayne.

Jesse, affectionally called Bizzy, loved his family. He had a kind heart and a good sense of humor. Jesse was a bird watcher and also enjoyed NASCAR racing. Most important to Jesse was family, friends, Rayne, and his most fun thing, building and watching his bonfires. His presence on this earth will be missed.
