Jessica Katherine Bahamonde, age 23, of Hampstead and formerly of Cary, North Carolina passed away Friday, September 9, 2016.

She was born March 22, 1993 in Nassau, New York.

Jessica was a caring and compassionate person that was always there to lend a helping hand to her friends and family. If there were ever a need or crisis in a friend's life she would be there to assist them and walk them through it. She enjoyed hiking, reading. snowboarding and science.

Left to cherish her memory are her parents, James L. Bahamonde and Susan Bahamonde; brother, James Bahamonde and wife Jenny of Nassau, NY; sisters, Erika Bahamonde and Megan Farrington and husband Keithley both of Raliegh, NC; niece, Rebecca Bahamonde; Nephew, Christopher Bahamonde; Feline Companion, Kitten; and numerous other loving family members and friends.

A visitation will be from 11:00 am until 1:00 PM Friday, September 16, 2016 at Quinn McGowen Wilmington Chapel.

A memorial service will be held 1:00 Friday, September 16, 2016 following the visitation at the funeral home.
