Jessica Michelle Clark, age 22, of Lexington, SC left this life for her eternal rest on Thursday, April 18, 2013 after an extended illness.

She was born December 13, 1990 in Bennington County, Vermont and was the loving daughter of the late Kathleen Ebert Clark and Neal Clark and wife, Dawn of Lexington, SC. She was also predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Ray and Theresa Ebert.

Jessica was a student at University of South Carolina and served on the Board of Lung Transplant Foundation.

Surviving, in addition to her father and step-mother, is her brother, John Clark of Gainesville, FL; paternal grandparents, David and Margaret Clark of Rochester, New Hampshire; step-sisters, Emily Mooneyhan and Savannah Mooneyhan; special aunt and uncle, Julie and Mike Couch of Wallace and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and friends who loved Jessica dearly.

Jessica was a loving and caring young lady who loved her family dearly, especially her brother, John. She was a strong, courageous and tough warrior who taught those close to her what hope, strength and faith is all about. Her 'never-give-up' spirit and her faith made a very positive impact on everyone she met. Jessica enjoyed traveling and especially enjoyed Vermont and Germany. Being active in sports, she played Lacrosse for Ridgeview High School and was an avid Gamecock fan of University of South Carolina. Jessica was smart and determined as she was teaching herself to speak German. Jessica will surely be missed but cherished memories will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00am on Monday, April 22, 2013 at Transfiguration Catholic Church with Father Alex Gonzalez officiating.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00pm on Sunday, April 21, 2013 at Quinn-McGowen Funeral Home in Wallace.
