Jimmie "Jim" Lee Martin, age 68, of Hampstead, NC passed away on Monday, November 14, 2022.

He was born on December 19, 1953 in Mount Airy, NC to the late John Orvil Martin and Clara Marie Nunn Martin.

Jim loved the Lord. He also loved his dogs and worked with an animal rescue. Jim enjoyed watching sports, especially UNC and Ohio State games. Most of all, Jim enjoyed spending time with his close-knit family of six siblings who all stayed local and made great memories together.

Jim is survived by his brother, John Martin; sisters, Barbara Iovanna, Sue Martin, and Patty Schmidling (John); and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his sisters, Gaye Riffel and Mary DeVane.

A private family service will be held in Jim's honor.
