John William Bailey's Obituary
John William Bailey, age 71, of Wallace passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2015 at Duplin Vidant Hospital in Kenansville.
He was born May 5, 1943 in Lenoir County and was the son of the late Minnie Lou Andrews Futrell. He was also predeceased by his half-sister, Jo Ann Naylor and niece, Jennifer Adams.
Surviving is his sister, Alma Jennette Spence of Warsaw; niece, Stephanie Martinez of Ivanhoe; great nephews, Jonathan Arnette, Anthony Arnette and Skylar Grady and step-father, Richard Futrell.
John, or Jack as he was also affectionately called, was a gentle and quiet man who loved his family dearly. He loved gardening when his health permitted and enjoyed being outside. John will surely be missed but treasured memories will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
