John "Jack" K. Davis, Jr., age 67, of Wilmington, passed away October 28, 2012

He was preceded in death by his parents John K. Davis, Sr. and Ruth Davis and his faithful canine companions Junior and Sunny.

Jack is survived by his sisters: Sister Jane M. Davis, of Melbourne, Fl, Marcia Davis Padgett of Leesburg, Fl, Marjorie Davis Latta of Black Mountain, NC, five nephews, four great-nephews, two great-nieces, and Karen Zyp of Wilmington, NC who was like a daughter to him.

Jack owned Cape Fear Real Estate Directory. He shared his love for Wilmington, Wrightsville Beach and particularly Airlie Gardens through his scenic photography. Jack photographed the beauty of this area like few had ever done before, or will again. He was a Vietnam Veteran and a great friend to all that knew him.

A private celebration of Jack's life for family, friends and business associates will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, November 3, 2012, at Airlie Gardens. Per Jack, casual dress.
