John Robert Fedyszyn, 45, of Wilmington, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, April 8, 2021, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on July 17, 1975, in Dunkirk, NY, the son of John Edward and Darlene (Wolfe) Fedyszyn.

John, an US Army veteran, enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a die-hard Raider football fan and loved music. John was a loving husband, son, brother, and most of all a devoted father. His daughter, Cora was the absolute love of his life, there was nothing he would not do for her. He was a bright light to many and will be deeply missed.

John is survived by his loving wife, Joy Fulford; daughter, Cora Anne Fedyszyn; sisters, Kimberly Ellis and husband, Eirik, Julie Kuell and husband, Charles, Jennifer McIlvain and husband, Brad; mother-in-law, Jeanie Fuford; sister-in-law, Bess Quillen and husband, David; godchildren, Jordyn Bartkowiak and Brandon McIlvain; and many other family and friends.

John was preceded in death by his nephew, JJ Rafan; and father-in-law, Bill Fulford.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, April 14, 2021, at Quinn McGowen Funeral Home in Wilmington with Deacon George Keenan officiating and the US Army performing military honors.
