John Evans Pridgen Sr, 84, went to be with the Lord on February 25, 2021 at Parrish Medical Center in Titusville, FL.

He was born on July 26, 1936 in Wilmington, North Carolina to the late E. F. and Lottie Pridgen.

John was an engineer with Boeing for 31 years at Kennedy Space Center. He retired as a Principal Design Engineer.  He was a member of First Methodist Church in Titusville, Florida Elks, FMCA and Safari Motor Coach Club. He loved his family and enjoyed being a husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and loyal friend.  John was loved and will be dearly missed by many.

John Evans Pridgen, Sr. is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Marie G. Pridgen;  his daughter, Jayne P. Dose and her husband, David; his son, John E. Pridgen Jr.; and his grandchildren, Michael Evans Dose (Jenny), Christopher Dose (Jackie), Katy Marie Tatoris (Kyle), Steven Dose (Chelsea), James Dose (Alyssia), Laura Beth O' Connor (Michael), Jonathan Dose, Daniel Dose and Maryanna Dose; seven great grandchildren with two more "on the way"; brothers, James H Pridgen and Evans H. Pridgen; and  sister, Lottie Jane Walker.  He is also survived by an aunt and uncle, Mildred and George Futch.

There will be a private family graveside service in North Carolina.
