John J. Shade, Jr., 65, of Hampstead and formerly of Lock Haven, Pennsylvania died Friday, March 22, 2013 at his home.

He was born March 12, 1948 in Lock Haven, PA, the son of the late John J. Shade, Sr. and Grace Gramley Shade Rupert. Also remembered is his deceased brother, Daniel William Shade who preceded John in death.

John is survived by his children, John J. Shade III of Avis, PA, Barbara F. Garner of Jersey Shore, PA, Wenda Butler of Lock Haven, PA, Lindsey Calhoun-Slade of Hampstead, Brandy Rossman of Manchester, NH and Danielle Shade of Edmond, OK; 11 grandchildren; six great grandchildren; sisters, Terry Hall, Jackie Russell, Cindy Dorman and Kristina Orwig and many nieces and nephews.

John served his country honorable in the US Army.
