J. W. Hunt, age 27, of Rocky Point died Sunday, May 4, 2008 in Pender County.

He was born in Wake County on September 13, 1980 to Deborah Henry of Rocky Point and Johnny Wayne Hunt of Knightdale.

For the past eight years J. W. was employed with Jim Bowden Electrical Services.

J. W. loved his many friends and his family, especially his cherished son, Austin. His laughter, great sense of humor and his sunny smile will forever be remembered.

In addition to his loving parents J. W. is survived by his beloved wife, Theresa Hunt; son, Austin Bradley Hunt both of the home; sisters, Christy Garrett of Leland and Shannan Sheppard of Hampstead; grandparents, Waverly and JoeAnn Horton of Wendell; nieces, Brittany, Hannah and Alexandria; and nephews, Hunter, Dakota, Seth and Kenneth.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 7, 2008 at Quinn-McGowen Funeral Home Burgaw Chapel with Pastor Randall Smith officiating.

Burial will follow in Riverview Memorial Park.

A special thanks to friends and casketbearers, David, Shaun, Josh, Jarrod, Lorenzo and Jim, Jr.

The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Quinn-McGowen Funeral Home.
