Jonathan Perry Norris, age 21, of Wallace died Wednesday, June 15, 2011 as results of an auto accident in Duplin County.

He was born April 16, 1990 in Sampson County and was the son of Ted Norris of Wallace and Patsy Malone Barden of Willard. He is predeceased by his paternal grandmother, Mollie Norris, his Granny, Killie Rogers and maternal grandparents Christopher Malone and Callie Cain Malone.

Surviving to cherish his memory in addition to his parents are his loving wife, Julia Lanier Norris of the home; his daughter and 'apple of his eye', Angel Hope Norris also of the home; his brother, Christopher "Chris" Norris of Teachey; paternal grandfather, John William Norris of Teachey; maternal grandparents, Elwood and Betty Malone of Rose Hill; great maternal grandmother, Ruby Blanton of Wilmington and numerous relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be 12:00 Noon, Monday, June 20, 2011 at First Assembly of God Church on West Main Street in Wallace with the Rev. Leo Bracken officiating.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon, Monday, June 20, 2011, two hours prior the funeral service at the church.

Burial will follow the funeral service at Riverview Memorial Park in Watha, NC.

Jonathan was the kind of man you just could not help but love. He was a devoted husband and caring daddy, son and brother who loved his family dearly. Being a fun-loving, energetic young man, he enjoyed life. Jonathan could brighten your day with a smile, and a warm heart with his big brown puppy eyes. With an outgoing and witty personality, he was loved by all. To him, no one was a stranger, but a friend. Jonathan never liked the word "Goodbye", so for now "See you later baby."
