Jordan Christopher Lunsford of Rocky Point passed from his earthly life at the young age of 28 leaving a huge sadness in the hearts of his beloved family and many friends. He was born July 30, 1992 in Wilmington and passed away on Thursday, August 13, 2020.

He is survived by his mother, Susie Rooks Lunsford; brother, Jeffrey Lunsford (Erin); nephews, Brantley, Jackson and Brooks Lunsford; step-grandmother, Mercelle Lunsford; many aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.

Jordan was preceded in death by his father, Michael "Mike" Dean Lunsford; grandparents, Lewis Rooks, Martha Johnson Rooks, Papa Bobby Justice, Shirley Lunsford and Morris Lunsford.

All remember Jordan with his infectious smile and his ability to always live life on the edge. The outdoors, fishing, hunting, sports, baseball, football were all some of the things that Jordan really enjoyed. There was a special place in Jordan's heart for his nephews who affectionately called him Juju. Jordan's friends called him Magnum. Jordan was many things to many people; however, all will agree he made everyone feel loved and special. Even as all weather the storm – weep for his passing – Jordan's friends and family cherish memories.

A celebration of Life will be 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at the Lunsford residence, 3536 Little Kelly Road, Rocky Point, NC 28457 followed by a time of fellowship.
