José Pérez Bautista, de 60 años, amado esposo, padre, abuelo, hermano, tío, primo y fiel amigo falleció el miércoles 21 de octubre de 2020.

Nació el 1 de mayo de 1960 en Oaxaca, México, hijo de Prudencio Pérez y Ángela Bautista.  También precedieron a José en la muerte sus hermanos, Irma Pérez Bautista y Nicandro Pérez Bautista.

A José le sobreviven su amada familia: esposa, Rufina Ramírez Santos;  hijos, Laura Pérez Ramírez (Rigo Paz), Manuel Pérez Ramírez, Tulia Pérez Ramírez (Rubén Cruz), Gabriela Pérez Ramírez, Edwin Pérez Ramírez;  nietos, Miguel, Tony, Abigail, Lesley, Rigo Jr., Magali, Ariel, April;  hermanos, Rolando Perez Bautista, Erasto Perez Bautista, Alfredo Perez Bautista y hermanas, Clara Perez Bautista y Ortencia Perez Bautista.

Con gran lealtad y dedicación, José trabajó durante más de 17 años en Riverview Memorial Park, Duplin Memorial Gardens y Rockfish Memorial Cemetery.

José era un cristiano honesto y compasivo que amaba y cuidaba a su familia sin comparación.  Su fuerte ética de trabajo, su generosidad hacia los demás y su actitud optimista fueron un gran testimonio y le hicieron muchos amigos.  Habrá un vacío y una gran tristeza en los corazones y las vidas de todos los que lo conocieron y amaron.  Su cálida sonrisa y su naturaleza feliz no serán olvidadas.

Habrá una visita de 3-5:00 p.m., el domingo 25 de octubre de 2020, en Quinn-McGowen Funeral Home Burgaw.  Se requerirán máscaras.

El funeral junto a la tumba será a la 1:00 p.m.  Lunes en Riverview Memorial Park, 9332 US Hwy 117, Willard, NC 28478, con el padre Marco Leon oficiando.  Seguirá el entierro en el mausoleo.

Jose Perez Bautista, age 60, beloved husband, father, granddaddy, brother, uncle, cousin and loyal friend died Wednesday, October 21, 2020.

He was born May 1, 1960 in Oaxaca, Mexico, the son of Prudencio Perez and Angela Bautista. Also preceding Jose in death are his siblings, Irma Perez and Nicandro Perez Bautista.

Jose is survived by his loving family: wife, Rufina Ramirez Santos; children, Laura Perez Ramirez (Rigo Paz), Manuel Perez Ramirez, Tulia Perez Ramirez (Ruben Cruz), Gabriela Perez Ramirez, Edwin Perez Ramirez; grandchildren, Miguel, Tony, Abigail, Lesley, Rigo Jr., Magali, Ariel, April; brothers, Rolando Perez Bautista, Erasto Perez Bautista, Alfredo Perez Bautista and sisters, Clara Perez Bautista and Ortencia Perez Bautista.

With great loyalty and dedication, Jose worked for over 17 years at Riverview Memorial Park, Duplin Memorial Gardens and Rockfish Memorial Cemetery.

Jose was an honest, compassionate Christian man who loved and took care of his family beyond compare.  His strong work ethic, his generosity toward others and his optimistic attitude were a great witness and made him many friends.   There will be a void and great sadness in the hearts and lives of all who knew and loved him.  His warm smile and happy nature will not be forgotten.

There will be a viewing from 3-5:00 p.m., Sunday, October 25, 2020, at Quinn-McGowen Funeral Home Burgaw. Mask will be required.

Graveside funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, October 26, 2020 at Riverview Memorial Park, 9332 US Hwy 117, Willard, NC 28478, with Father Marco Leon officiating.   Entombment will follow in the mausoleum.
