Jose Luis Rodriguez Rivas, age 63, of Willard passed from this life to his eternal rest on Friday, April 22, 2016 from Vidant Duplin Hospital in Kenansville.

He was born on May 24, 1952 in Michoacán Mexico and was the son of Claudio Rodriguez and Maria Rivas.

Surviving to cherish his memory is his wife, Josefina Villa of the home; children, Kevin Rodriguez, Kenny Rodriguez, Karen Rodriguez and Aylin Rodriguez.

Jose was a devoted husband and loving father who loved his family dearly. With a big heart and gentle spirit he was willing to help anyone in need. Jose will surely be missed but will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
