Joseph Andrew High, 63, of Wilmington, NC passed away Thursday, April 18, 2024. Sadly, our beloved "Captain Andy," passed away too early and his presence will be greatly missed. Andy was born February 14, 1961 in Rock Hill, SC.

He was renowned for his passion for fishing and cherished every aspect of it. His cooking was unparalleled. He was a loyal supporter of Clemson and was very passionate about sports and enjoyed participating in competitive pools with friends. He was known for being reliable and having a wide network of friends.

He is survived by Carol Gregory (his girlfriend), Bryce Tomaselli (his daughter), Ross Tomaselli (his son-in-law), Joseph High (his son), Carter Leigh High (his daughter), two granddaughters Reese and Miller Tomaselli, and ten bonus grandchildren that he shared skittles and laughs with. His mother, father, and brother, Tony, preceded him in death.

Services for Andy will be held at Pine Valley Methodist Church - 3788 Shipyard Boulevard, Wilmington, NC on April 24, 2024. The schedule is: Visitation 11 am - 12 pm, Funeral Service 12 pm -1 pm. Burial to follow at Oleander Memorial Gardens in Wilmington.
