Joseph "Joe" Jackson Scronce, Jr. age 75, of Willard passed from this earthly life to his eternal home on Wednesday, February 2, 2022.

Joe was a member of the Way Riders Motorcycle Club, Union Rescue Squad and Wallace Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Surviving to cherish Joe's memory is his loving wife of 10 years, Glenda Lanier Scronce; his sister Dottie Osborne and husband Jimmy of Clinton; brothers Wesley Scronce and wife Gail of Wallace and Mike Scronce and wife Brenda of Wallace. Joe was blessed to have "Bonus Kids" whom he loved as his own; Pam Sholar and husband, Fionn of Wallace, Steven Kennedy and wife Breeanna of Beulaville and Jeffery Kennedy and wife Denise of Wallace. Joe's "Bonus Grandkids' are Tobie Sholar, Braylei Kennedy, Brandt Kennedy, Avery K. Mitchell and Payton Kennedy. Also surviving is his sisters-in-law, Lisa Scronce of Beulaville, and Sonia Hanchey of Wallace; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends that loved Joe dearly.
Joe or "Papa Joe" as he was affectionately called, was a devoted husband and caring "Bonus Dad and Granddad", brother and friend. He enjoyed the simple things in life, but his greatest joy was family. An avid horse lover and great horse trainer, Joe was very talented. He trained many horses in his life and would travel throughout the United States to enter horses in horse shows. Horses were his passion. Joe was also a giver of his time. Throughout his life, he quietly served others volunteering with Union Rescue Squad, Woodmen of the World Lodge, and numerous other charitable organizations. He was a man of compassion and kindness always lending helping hands to neighbors, friends, and family. With his great personality and love for people, Joe never met a stranger. But most of all, he had love and relationship with God and demonstrated his faith in his everyday life. Joe will surely be missed but treasured memories will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him.
Graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at Riverview Memorial Park, Watha.
