Josephine Victoria McKoy, age 88, of Rocky Point, NC passed away on Sunday, April 7, 2024 at Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC.

She was born on May 6, 1935 in Pender County, NC to the late James Elby Crews and Olive Caroline DeBois Crews.

Josephine was a good cook who made the best biscuits. She was a bright light to many people, and she will be dearly missed.

Josephine is survived by her son, Bob Pierce; daughter, Cindy Lloyd; brother, James Crews; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Josephine was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Ronnall McKoy; son, Harry Ray Campfield; sister, Pearl Avery; and brother, Albert Lee Crews.

A graveside service will be held at Crews Family Cemetery in Rocky Point on Saturday, June 29, 2024 at 11am.
