Joyce Ann Land, 77, of Castle Hayne, passed away on Saturday, December 5, 2020, at Azalea Health and Rehabilitation Center in Wilmington.

She was born on February 25, 1943, in Lumberton, NC, to the late James and Virginia Dare Bozeman.

Joyce, a very strong and feisty woman, attended Cora Grove Church in Willard, NC. She retired after 25 years as a firefighter for the Shallotte Point Fire Department. Joyce also managed Tripps Fishing Center in Shallotte for 41 years.

She is survived by her brothers, James Howard Bozeman and wife, Brenda, Richard Earle Bozeman and wife, Teresa; her sisters, Betty Jean Patrick, Juanita Taylor; and many other family and friends.

Donation may be made in Joyce's memory to the Shallotte Point Fire Department 4126 Pigott RD SW Shallotte, NC 28470.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
