Juanita K. Moore, 81 of Wilmington passed away May 1, 2015.

She was preceded in death by her husband C. J. Moore and her son Barry McCall Moore.

Juanita is survived by her son Coy D. Moore and wife Lib, sisters Elsie K. Duvall and husband Bill, Frances K. Metts, and Anne K. Layton and husband Samuel, 3 grandchildren Tracy Miller, Amy Moore Bacon and Jason Moore, 3 great grandchildren Gage and Logan Miller, and Alyssa Bacon, many nieces and nephews.

She was a loving mother, sister and was loved by all who knew her. She was a great homemaker. Juanita was a nurse for 45 years. She was a longtime member of Pine Valley Baptist Church where she served in the church nursery for many years.

The family will receive friends from 1-2PM, Monday, May 4, 2015 at Pine Valley Baptist Church where a memorial service will begin at 2PM.
