Judith Arlene Toothman, age 81, formerly of Steubenville, OH passed away on Thursday, December 16, 2021 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC.

She was born on May 6, 1940 in Jefferson County, OH to the late William Ernest Schroeder and Daisy Estella Bay Schroeder.

Judith was a retired Nurse's Assistant from former Ohio Valley Hospital, now Trinity East, in Steubenville, OH. She enjoyed crocheting and doing puzzles. Most of all, Judith enjoyed spending time with her family.

Judith is survived by her sons, Jay Hays and wife, Sara, and Bill Hays and wife, Melissa; daughters, Kelly Haynes and husband, Greg, and Lorrain Reed; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Judith was preceded in death by her first husband, Gerald Hays, Sr.; second husband, Robert Toothman; and great-grandchild, Kadence Ewing.

A memorial service will be held in Steubbenville, OH at a future date.
