Julia Tart Jarman, 68, passed from this life to her eternal rest on Thursday, January 28,2016.

She was born March 17, 1947 in Harnett County and was the daughter of the late Calvin Upton and Mary Brock Tart. She was also predeceased by her husband, Tom Brinson, her son, David Lee Keir; sister, Becky Jo Foy and brothers, Henry and Dwight Tart.

Surviving is her devoted son Larry Allen Keir and wife Lori of Harrells; grandchildren, Matthew Allen Keir and Hailey Keir; sisters, Pamela Tart of Rose Hill and Leigh Collins and husband Kenny of Stockton, CA and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Julia was a loving mother and caring grandmother and sister. She enjoyed the simplest things in life but her greatest joy was family especially her grandchildren. Matthew and Hailey were her world and the love that she had for them was evident in her life. She was not only their grandmother but also a true friend to them. Julia will surely be missed but precious memories will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Memorial service will be held at 3:00pm on Sunday, January 31, 2016 at Quinn-McGowen Funeral Home in Wallace with the Reverend Ronald Ginn officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service until 5:00pm at the funeral home.
