Obituary

Julie Ann Gerganous Caison, age 34, of Watha left her earthly life and gently passed to her heavenly home on April 27, 2009 while surrounded by her loving family.

She was born March 17, 1975 in Wilmington, the daughter of Clarence and Brenda Ivey Gerganous of Burgaw.

Surviving in addition to her parents are her husband, Robert "Bubba" Caison, Jr. and beloved daughter, Alyssa Logan Caison both of the home; brother, Eddie Gerganous (Anita) of Hampstead; grandmother, Lillian Gerganous of Hampstead; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Sammy and Gail Caison; brother-in-law, Joe Caison; sisters-in-law, Angie Caison and Elyse Crews and many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Julie graduated from Pender High School in 1993 and was currently employed with Pender County Board of Education. Julie's bright and shining light touched the lives of many and she was an inspiration to others all through her brief illness.

The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Quinn-McGowen Funeral Home.

Celebration of Julie's life will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 30, 2009 at Quinn-McGowen Funeral Home Burgaw Chapel with The Rev. John Fedoronko, The Rev. Dean Walker and The Rev. Kathy Hubbard officiating.

Burial will follow in Riverview Memorial Park.

Casketbearers will be Mike Carlisle, Mitchell Harris, Glenn Hurt, Leon Craft, Hagen Blake and David Rooks.

Honorary bearers were Jamie Littleton, Adam Williamson, Bucky Ganey, Austin Baker, Roger Anderson, Ray Rivenbark and Jonathan Ambrose.
