Junius Watson Morrison of Warsaw died Friday morning, August 15, 2008 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.

Junius was born June 21, 1953 in Ronceverte, WV and was the son of The Rev. Joseph G. Morrison of Wilmington and the late Carolyn C. Morrison. Junius was predeceased by a brother, Jackson Davis Morrison.

In addition to his father he is survived by his brother, Dr. Joseph G. Morrison IV and wife, Traudy, of Acworth, Ga.; and his sister, Ann M. Keir and husband, Danny, of Wilmington. He is also survived by seven nephews and nieces and seven great nephews and nieces.

Junius was a graduate UNCW and held a Masters Degree from Radford University.

Graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 18, at Hopewell Presbyterian Church Cemetery with The Rev. Ralph Evans officiating.

The family requests that memorials be given to Boys and Girls Homes of NC, PO Box 127, Lake Waccamaw, NC 28450-0127.
