Kathleen Ann Deacy Murphy, age 95, of Wallace and formerly of New York passed away on Friday, January 5, 2018 at Day Spring Assisted Living in Wallace, NC.

She was born on February 10, 1922 in New York City, NY and was one of 10 children of the late Michael J. and Bridget McNulty Deacy. She was also predeceased by her devoted husband, Andrew Michael Murphy and her 9 siblings.

Surviving are her children, Maureen Goodwin and husband, Daniel of Wallace, NC, Gerard Murphy and wife, Georgia, James Murphy and wife, Ruth and Christopher Murphy and wife, Janet, all of New York. Kathleen was blessed with 17 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.

Services for Kathleen will be held in New York and will be announced on this website.
