Kathleen Barnhill Parker, 72, a gracious and loving lady passed from her earthly life Wednesday, August 12, 2026 at home surrounded with love and family.

She was born September 25, 1953 in Wilmington, the daughter of Fred Burr Barnhill, Jr. and Helen Iola Sheer Barnhill both who preceded Kathleen in death.

Kathleen is survived by her devoted husband of 35 years, Gary Dean Parker; son, Casey Dean Parker; daughter, Meredith Hudson Snyder and her husband, Jamie; grandchildren, Caleb Snyder, Connor Snyder, and Ella Snyder; and sisters, Phyllis Wicker and Helen Chiverton.
