Kathy Neale Yates Quidley, 68, of Hampstead passed peacefully from her earthly life on Friday, August 10, 2018 at Woodbury Wellness in Hampstead.

She was born December 14, 1949 in Wilmington, the daughter of the late Joseph Allen and Clara Kathleen Simmons Yates. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willian Lewis Quidley and grandson twins, Cody and Hunter Cooper.

Kathy is survived by her son, Dan Allen Lane; daughter, Melissa Lane Ward (Ronald); grandchildren, Crystal Lane Yu (Matthew), Justin Lane, Brett Rogers, Daniel Cooper and Kaylee Ward; and five great grandchildren.

Kathy's journey on this earth was filled with an abiding love of the Lord. She loved her family dearly and was the best wife, mother, grandmother, and sister any one could ask for. Kathy always had a smile on her face and a heart ready to show the love of Christ within her. She loved her synagogue, Beth Simcha, and would spread the word of the Lord to anyone who would listen. In years past Kathy spent many happy hours crocheting. She also loved to go to the beach. Kathy was loved by all and will be greatly missed.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Sunday, August 12, 2018 at Quinn-McGowen Funeral Home Burgaw with funeral service beginning at 3:00 p.m. Rabbi Marty Schilsky will conduct the service. Burial will follow in Burgaw Cemetery.
