Kay was a loyal, faithful soldier of the Lord and member of Castle Hayne Baptist Church. Blessed with an eye for beauty and being exceptionally creative, she was a talented artist, cross stitcher and gifted in stain glass works. Her legacy of steadfast faith in God and love of her cherished family and dear friends will forever be remembered. So, we her family and friends say not goodbye, but only till later when we will all meet again in God's Heavenly Kingdom.

Surviving in addition to her loving mother are her beloved husband of 14 years, James "Jimmy" H. Peedin III; daughter, Taylor Ruth Peedin, who was the light of Kay's life; sons who brought Kay much joy, JonMichael Peedin and James "Jay" H. Peedin IV; sister, Sue B. Cagle (Shelton); nieces, Jennifer Cagle and Stephanie Cagle; uncles, Gib Ruth (Linda) and John Ruth; other much loved extended family and Kay's adored canine companion, LuLu.
