Kaye Bowers Nobles, age 77, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and God's faithful servant was called to her heavenly home by the Lord on Saturday evening, February 3, 2024.

She was born September 10, 1946 in Wilmington, the daughter of Stewart Franklin Bowers, Sr. and Joyce Hinton Bowers. In addition to her parents Kaye was preceded in death by her brother, Stewart F. "Buddy" Bowers, Jr.

Kaye is survived by her husband of 56 years, Marvin L. "Buck" Nobles; sons, Michael Nobles and Paul Nobles and wife, Leslie; grandchildren, Nathan Nobles and Jarrett Nobles; sister-in-law, Sherry Bowers; and many friends who dearly loved Kaye.

After working for many years Kaye retired from First Citizens Bank.

Kaye was an active member of Moores Creek Baptist Church where she was currently  music director and church treasurer. Kaye's joy in life included her family, music, and her church family.

Kaye was a lady of many talents that she shared so generously with others. During her lifetime she cared for many, giving of her time, and making sure all their needs were met. Her sweet spirit and caring nature touched the lives of all she came in contact with. She loved and served her Lord, was a prayer warrior, and shared the love of Jesus every chance she got, even as a patient in the hospital. Kaye will be remembered for many things including her kindness, servitude and endless dedication to family, her church and her Lord.

The family will receive friends at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 10, 2024 at Moores Creek Baptist Church with memorial service beginning at 11:00 a.m. in the church sanctuary. Pastor Roger Barnes will conduct the service.
