Kenneth Jackson Wells, age 85, of Willard passed from this life to his eternal rest on Wednesday, August 14, 2024.

He was born on January 29, 1939, in Pender County; the son of the late William Jake and Bessie Jackson Wells. Kenneth was also preceded in death by his brother Robert Allen Wells; his sister Hilda Wells Johnson and sister-in-law Sue Wells.

Kenneth was a member of Potts Presbyterian Church.  He was employed at J.P. Stevens for over 25 years before retiring.

Surviving is his best friend and wife of 62 years, Judy Padgett Wells of the home; sons, William Keith Wells and wife Hayley of Atkinson and Jeffrey Dean Wells of Rocky Point; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends that loved Kenneth dearly.

Graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, at Potts Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
