Kevin Glenn Swinson, 45. of Currie passed from his earthly life Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at his home.

He was born February 2, 1976 in Pender County, the son of the Charles Glenn Swinson and the late June Pittman Swinson. Kevin was also preceded in death by his son, Kevin Jayden Swinson.

In addition to his father, Kevin is survived by his daughters, Brittany Swinson, Breanna Swinson, Hailey Swinson and Brooke Swinson; grandson, Dakoda Swinson; sister, Kimberly S. McCabe and her husband, Cecil; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and other extended family members.

By career Kevin was a truck driver which he thoroughly enjoyed, racking up many miles and seeing many places.

Being an avid hunter, Kevin enjoyed being outdoors in God's wonderful world of nature.

The family will receive friends 5 to 7:00 p.m. Monday, December 20, 2021 at Quinn McGowen Funeral Home Burgaw Chapel.
