Lani Peschau Whitty, age 80, passed from her earthly life Sunday, August 11, 2024, at her home.

She was born August 27, 1943, in Florida, the daughter of Ernest Ferdinand Paschau and Jacqueline Lillian Gilbert Rehanek. In addition to her parents Lani was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip Whitty; daughter, Stacey Butler; and brother, Gilbert Rehanek.

Lani is survived by her brother, Edward Woodrow "Woody" Rehanek (Kathleen); stepson, Paul Whitty (Julie); stepdaughter, Elizabeth "Liz" Loy; and other extended family members and friends.

Lani was a collector of many things, but her choice items were Fenton glass, all sizes and shapes. She never missed seeing a scarry movie, as they were her favorite. She was a lady of strong will and great determination, living in her own home until the very end. And that is a big plus at the age of 80.
